...And the Model is?

Published 8/17/2010

Magazines, billboards, fashion catalogues showcase brilliant advertisement pieces starring the ultimate young model amongst all.  The model perfect figure is capable to flawlessly carry out any kind of garments, any sort of extreme designer fashion pieces; it's one-of-a-kind walking advertisement and human mannequin.  A model is the ideal and powerful element to enhance a fashion collection.

TV shows, movies and media provide an idyllic vision on how to become a real model, as a consequence, millions of young girls desire to share fashion runways and magazine covers with fellow teenagers Agyness Deyn, Chanel Iman, Lindsey Wixson or design a fashion collection with legendary model Kate Moss.  Reality is well diverse rather than the staged one; body is the authentic costume, as a consequence, it is a unique and essential component of a model's career.  Girls work tough upon themselves committing everything to shatter agencies' doors in order to be luxury designers' 'muse' on their celebrated fashion shows.

Fact: a model is born as a model.  She has to won a fast metabolism to be tremendously thin; count upon high genetic material concerning her height, maintain her figure exactly as it is while in the golden years of her career; along with a plentiful dosage of energy in order to run through hectic days (and nights).

Initially, it is the photographer's main task to shoot a novice model in order to generate her specific and exceptional image.  It is a complex process since photographers might, perhaps, abuse their powerful camera to unscrupulously sell photo shoots and images.  Soon after, it is turn of modeling agencies promises of permanent work, fame and career; yet before anything, the model has to sign a contract and eventually pay to grow as a professional model.  Modeling agencies are specifically manufactured to sell wannabes their dream job; an agency is the place to start.  An agency has the ability to make a young girl a professional top model.  At the moment, it is time to daily walk, march and run, seeking various jobs, meeting relevant people within the industry, creating contacts and determine a career in the fashion and entertainment world.  It is up to the young model's feet and hands to accomplish her career and be the next top model above all.

PS.  However, a further typology of young models fights to succeed.  It is the undeveloped countries team's (mainly beauties from South America, then Africa, and Asia); a teenager sees the only pathway to raise her and her family life by using her body.  An effective means to make primary and secondary needs to everyone around the model to become a reality.
