Anja
Frers has a degree in photo design and has assisted
many international photographers around the world.
Anja has won awards such as: Vogue online Photographer
of the month (April), Golden Award of Montreux, Finalist
at the New York Festival and Winner of the London
International Advertising Award to name a few.
Anja has worked with Editorials: ELLE, ELLE girl, Zink,
L 'Officiel, Hintmag, Vision China, and Indie Austria to
name a few.
I seen her work through fashion
stylist/photographer Oliver Rauh.
Exclusively Fashion Magazine:
Can you tell me how to become a fashion photographer?
Anja Frers:
In
the fashion photography is a lot of conceptual thinking
is required and you can take his ideas and creativity to
live. These aspects have always interested me.
EFM: Have you always wanted to
become a fashion photographer?
AF:
In my photography I was never fixated on fashion.
For me it's interesting concept, and the portrait in the
foreground. Therefore, it is not always fashion.
EFM: I have seen your work in many
magazines such as Zinc, Hintmag NYC, Elle and L'Officiel.
Is it a collaboration with the fashion editor of the
magazine itself?
AF:
I work for a special issue on
behalf of the magazine, on the other hand, are produced
by me free to buy tracks.
EFM: Do you think that
fashion and art go hand in hand?
AF: For
me, fashion and art go hand in hand, because some
fashion photographers in your work also crucial for the
arts were and are.
EFM:
How would you describe your photography?
AF:
My photography, I would be picturesque, poetic and
mysterious description.
EFM:
What is your favorite camera to use?
AF:
My favorite camera is the Hasselblad HD3.
EFM:
What is your favorite music that you like to hear,
while shooting?
AF:
I prefer to listen to relaxing music flowing.

EFM: What do you enjoy doing
in your spare time?
AF:
In my free time I like to go into nature.
Mountaineering, cycling sailing. It helps give me a free head
and to get the whole thing to see. In addition, I
practice yoga.
EFM:
What do you love most about your job?
AF:
I love most about my job to earn money without even
a second job to think or look at the clock. It is a
great gift with a bit of money was so much fun!
EFM: How many times of the
year do you travel?
AF:
I travel very frequently and also frequently in the
year. It expands the horizons and gives a new
Inspiration.
EFM: What advice can you
aspiring fashion photographer?
AF:
Is not covered, and get discouraged. His own
way again and again to seek and go without being swayed
to leave. And above all never to lose that joy, because
the energy found in an image is purely later tracks.
